Enfranchised (and certainly not women) the Great Reform Bill signalled a seachange in the relationship between rulers and ruled with power and the people talking directly, not through the artificial offices of the blue bloods. But as a quick disclaimer I should say that while I adore this book, and highly recommend it and the next two or three after it, I cannot recommend any others. So how does one make a mark and find a way to stand out from the rest in the tale of the epic struggle? Let me just summarize by saying that the faithful will most definitely enjoy this final book in the Blue Bloods saga – and for those of you who haven't started, you can now read a great new-to-you series in its entirety! I have to admit that I wasn't really sure if I would enjoy Blue Bloods but the book was actually great! I have to say (after finally discovering where Amazon was hiding the list of books to be published) it was the cover that grabbed my attention with this book – I mean just look at it! In Gates of Paradise: A Blue Bloods Novel by Melissa De La Cruz, you will find the characters that have become the epitome of both good and darkness over the course of the series. I had read the first four books in the Blue Blood Series by Melissa de la Cruz back in April of 2010.
